Hal Ugandan, half European Jewish, Carmella knew from a young age her biggest dream was to 'make Africa 1st world'. Since then she has found her real passion to be the safeguarding and supporting of African families, especially children.
Raquel
Sternberg
Co Founder & Head of PR.
Half Ugandan actress Raquel (Roxy) realised her huge love for Africa & wish to make a big difference in her 20's on a long trip to her motherland, Uganda. Raquel supports Nava with fundraising, awareness and decision making.
Christopher
Muwanguzi
Trustee - Secretary.
Christopher is the Ugandan born CEO of award winning charity 'Childs I. Christopher knew that working with children was his purpose after scrapping his first dream of becoming 'president of Uganda'. His work replacing orphanages with foster parents in Uganda has been monumental in giving Ugandan children a better future.
David Patterson
Trustee - Fundraising & PR.
7 years of running St James's Place Foundation gave David an insight into children's charities and what it looks like to run one well! He left the Foundation to become a trustee of Nava and to support the team with his well-rounded knowledge.
